Registration & entry

  • A single $100 entry covers all three tournaments: Friday Night Melee, CPR Main, and Sunday Send-Off.
  • Register on MatchPlay.
  • The Main is IFPA Certified. Certified is a tier above standard sanctioning, requiring stricter standards for format, structure, and finals, and applies a 125% Event Booster to the WPPR points awarded. The Friday Night Melee and Sunday Send-Off are IFPA-sanctioned.

Check-in

Check-in is at the front desk.

  • Friday: doors 6:00 PM; Friday Night Melee qualifying starts 7:00 PM.
  • Saturday: doors 9:00 AM; CPR Main check-in 9:00 AM; Round 1 starts 10:00 AM.
  • Sunday: doors and check-in 8:30 AM; CPR Main A & B Division finals 9:30 AM; Sunday Send-Off 10:00 AM.

Prize pools & payouts

Of your $100 entry: $40 to the venue, $1 IFPA fee, trophies. The rest seeds the prize pools: $10/player into Friday Night Melee, $15/player into Sunday Send-Off, and the remainder into CPR Main.

Top finishers are paid a percentage of each pool (places and percentages TBA). Cash payouts are settled before the event wraps Sunday evening.

At the venue

  • Open play: machines outside the tournament banks remain available for free play during the event.
  • Spectators: welcome at no charge.
  • Streaming: tournament play streamed on twitch.tv/lyonsclassicpinball.
  • Food & drink: snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase; outside food and drink are welcome.
  • Parking: street parking on Main St (see Travel for more).
  • Accessibility: the building has two levels with no elevator. Email ahead if you need accommodations.

Code of conduct

Play respectfully and keep the venue welcoming for everyone: no harassment, no slurs, no abusive behavior toward players, staff, or machines. Tournament staff have final say on rulings and disputes per IFPA guidelines.
