Celebrate the Year’s End

Ring in the new year with a last-chance tournament featuring a relaxed, fun vibe. Pingolf qualifying begins at 3pm with a go-at-your-own-pace course—take your best 9 scores across 18+ holes.

Play as many or as few qualifying holes as you want before 10pm. Finals will use the Amazing Race format.

Qualifying: Pingolf

Each hole has an objective like “start multiball” or “light extra ball.” You have 5 balls to complete it—fewer balls means fewer strokes. One ball = 1 stroke, all five = 5 strokes, fail to complete = 6 strokes. Lowest total wins.

Objectives follow the IFPA Pin-Golf standards.

How it works:

• 18+ holes available throughout the arcade
• Play in groups of 2-4 at your own pace between 3pm and 10pm
• One attempt per hole
• Your best 9 scores count toward qualifying
• Play as many or as few holes as you want

Top qualifiers advance to the Amazing Race finals.

Finals: Amazing Race Format

In Amazing Race, all finalists play single-player games on the same machine each round. The player with the lowest score is eliminated. This repeats until one player remains.

The highest qualifying seed picks which slot they want, followed by the next seed, and so on. After all slots are chosen, games are picked in slot order—whoever has slot 1 picks first, then slot 2, and so on. With 4 players there are only 3 slots, so the lowest seed doesn’t get a pick.

Example (4-player finals):

Slot selection:

1. Seed 1 picks slot 3
2. Seed 2 picks slot 1
3. Seed 3 gets slot 2

Game selection (in slot order):

1. Slot 1 (Seed 2) picks Venom
2. Slot 2 (Seed 3) picks Spider-Man
3. Slot 3 (Seed 1) picks Avengers

Final game order: Venom → Spider-Man → Avengers

How play works:

• Seed 1 plays game 1 (Venom), posts a score, and waits
• Seed 2 plays game 1. If they beat the current low score, they move to game 2. If not, they wait
• Seeds 3 and 4 play game 1, same logic
• Whoever has the lowest score and didn’t advance is eliminated
• Play continues until one player remains

$30 entry includes access to all events and free play on all machines. All proceeds will be donated to an organ transplant fund in honor of our dear late friend Dean Grover.

How many points can you rack up before a 2-minute timer goes off? Show off your best points-per-minute strategies on various games around the arcade. Play one game or play them all. Enshrine your score in the Hall of Fame.
