A Fun New Tournament Format

Rock out on our favorite music focused pinball machines, going for the highest scores you can during the qualification period. Top score on each gets their name enshrined above the game for the entire year!

What

Toppin’ the Charts will be played entirely on music themed pinball machines, with a Best Game qualifying round lasting 3(ish) hours. You will have unlimited attempts playing single player games, across a bank of 12(ish) games, with your best 6(ish) games being be counted towards your qualifying score. The Top score on each game gets 100 points. 90 points for second. 85 for third. 84 for fourth. Etc, etc.

The player with the top qualifying score on each game will also get their name and score posted above the machine for the rest of the year!

What’s the “ish”? Well, some of the specifics depend on how many players compete…

The top less-than-half(ish) players will advance to the finals, which will be played as a Ladder Elimination bracket. In Ladder Elimination, four players will play a game, and the player(s) in last place will be eliminated. Then a new player will join the group, and again, the bottom player(s) will be eliminated. This continues until there is only one player left: Toppin’ the Charts!

AC/DC, Beatles, Captain Fantastic, Doodle Bug, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Monster Bash, Pulp Fiction, Time Machine, Tron, Wizard (and possibly: TNA, Wizard of Oz)

Winner of the tournament will get their name forever enshrined on the special Toppin’ the Charts trophy, to be revealed at a later date.
